Occasionally, you may notice that commenting has been turned off on a post. This is done to help keep conversations respectful and safe for everyone.

Common Reasons Comments May Be Disabled

Comments began to turn into personal attacks, rude exchanges, or inappropriate language
A discussion showed signs of escalating and was closed early to prevent conflict
The topic attracted repeated off-topic or unhelpful comments

Disabling comments helps protect both the original poster and other group members.

Posters themselves can also choose to turn off comments on their own posts
Turning off comments does not mean the post has broken any rules
