Why was my request to join the group denied?

To keep our community groups safe and relevant, all join requests are screened.

Your request may have been denied for one or more of the following reasons:

• Your Facebook profile is less than 12 months old.
• You do not live or work in the area (or surrounding areas) of the group.
• You are already a member of too many groups, raising concerns about intent.
• You have no existing friends in the group.
• Your profile settings are restricted or incomplete, making verification difficult.
